Hi,
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on producing an absolutely superb plug-in for Firefox!
Secondly, I'd like to congratulate you on your new arrival! :-)
Thirdly, I have a suggestion that you might wish to consider. Would it be possible to allow individual users to add their own search engines to the mix that you provide?
For example, I frequently use Google shopping. And if I find something and I want to check prices on it, if I can highlight the item, and drag it slightly, and then drop it into a Google shopping search engine, that would be fantastic!
In order that you do not have to continually update the software with every possible search engine that someone might wish to use, I'll wager that some of them are incredibly esoteric, would it be possible to design the code so that an individual user could add a search engine without troubling you?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Once again, congratulations on the new arrival!

Go to any site with a search box. Right click in the search box, and select "Add PRIVATE search engine". You can then edit the name , icon etc and save. It is then saved to your list of private search engine (not sent to captain).
